Frank Borghi, goalkeeper for the 1950 United States squad that defeated England in the World Cup, died at age 89. He played nine games for the USMNT in four World Cup games and five qualifiers. He and the rest of the 1950 team were inducted in the National Soccer Hall of Fame in 1976.
